What to expect

We understand that you might be nervous, but please don’t worry!

At Potential Pro trials we create the best possible stage for you to showcase your ability and talent. We believe by creating a fun enjoyable environment, that your nerves will go away naturally!.

A typical day at a Potential Pro Trial

Step one

Welcomed by Potential Pro staff who will register your attendance and issue you with an individually numbered bib so that scouts can easily identify you. Please arrive around 15-20 minutes before your designated time slot. Scouts will be provided a sheet with numbers and player details.

Step two

Once the time slot has begun, players will be separated into their age groups with their designated coach for the trial. Parents will be able to view from the stands/viewing area as the trial commences.

Step three

The players will start with warm ups and progress onto academy level technical and tactical sessions with an emphasis on drills showcasing what professional scouts look for. There will be regular drink breaks throughout the session for the players.

Step four

The players will take part in an age appropriate match lasting up to an hour. The 16-19 age group will play 11v11 on a full size pitch. This is the highlight of everyone's day and also what scouts look at closely when making their final decision on a player.

Step five

Once the trial has finished, we will be in contact with parents/players who have been successfully scouted. For those who have purchased a personalised professional scout report these will be sent in 3-5 working days. Please stay in contact after the trial in regards to your progress, or contact us with any feedback - info@potentialprotrials.com. For anything further please see our FAQs below.
